Foraging Walks and Wild Food Cooking

I have been a passionate forager for over 10 years (or over 30 if you count blackberry foraging as a young child!) and leading foraging and wild food cooking courses since 2019.

I have worked with Totally Wild UK, one of the UK’s leading foraging organizations, but now also run my own independent foraging courses. Discovering the bounty of wild food and medicine on our doorsteps is a true joy, and I love sharing this with others. My walks include key tips for plant ID, culinary and medicinal uses of plants (including ideas for recipes) and a touch of folklore to deepen our connection and respect for how these plants have been valued in the past. I also send out plant ID lists and sometimes recipes in my follow-up emails.

    Intro to Foraging Walks

    - 2 hours
    - Includes samples and a wild snack
    - £20 per person (suitable for groups of 5-20 people)

    Seasonal Foraging Walks

    - 3 hours
    - Includes samples, a wild snack and a wild drink
    - £30 per person (suitable for groups of 5-20 people)

  • Picnic spread on a floral blanket, featuring homemade bread, beet dip, sliced frittata with vegetables, green cookies, and edible flowers in containers.

    Forage & Picnic

    - 4 hours
    - Includes samples, a wild snack & pre-prepared picnic wild mezze lunch 
    - £40 per person (suitable for groups of 5-20 people)

    Forage & Feast

    - 5 hours
    - Includes samples, a wild snack, a wild drink & 3-course wild food feast
    - Interactive element of the feast with part of it being cooked over an open fire 
    - £50 per person (suitable for groups of 5-15 people)

    Wild fermentation

    - 5 hours 
    - Includes a foraging walk and fermentation workshop where you will make 2 wild ferments (e.g. wild garlic kimchi, wild herb sauerkraut, elderflower & rhubarb soda)
    - A wild snack, wild fermented drink & wild food feast will also be included
    - £50 per person (suitable for groups of 5-15 people)
